Two arrested with six stolen mobile phones, cash in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, July 9: Sonari police here on Tuesday arrested two persons for allegedly stealing mobile phones, ATM cards, Aadhar card and cash worth Rs 3000 from a house in Khuntadih. They recovered six stolen mobile phones from their possession.

Those arrested were identified as Raju Prasad and Rajesh Gorai, both local residents.

According to SSP Anoop Birtharay, the accused persons had stolen the said valuables from the house of Ravi Shankar Kunkal on 21st June last. An FIR was lodged against unidentified persons with Sonari PS in this connection.

Soon after the incident, a team was set up to detect the crime.

During interrogation, police learnt that Gorai is an expert in breaking locks of mobile phones, cops said.
