Jamshedpur, July 9: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla Tuesday directed district education authorities to pull down dilapidated school buildings before 15th July and remove the debris immediately. He asked them to inspect all government schools and prepare a report after identifying such schools.
Reviewing works of education department, the DC said all headmasters should take regular classes and the teachers prepare lesson plan before going to teach.
Shukla said a work plan should be prepared by the block and cluster resource persons before paying inspection visit to government schools. He ordered deputation of teachers in schools having single teachers or only para-teachers. The BDOs, Cos and BEEOs should hold block level review meeting every month, he said.
The DC said the teachers of all 60 schools where smart classes are held should be given training by July end. Feedback on quality of smart classes should also be sought from students, he said.
