Tribute paid to Dr. Manmohan Singh at Jamshedpur’s Sakchi Gurudwara

Jamshedpur, Dec 27: The nation mourned the loss of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, and in solidarity, the Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Sakchi organized a prayer session in his honor. After the Gurbani Kirtan on Friday, the committee and devotees offered prayers to seek peace for his soul.

Sardar Nishan Singh, head of Sakchi Gurudwara, expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Dr. Singh, calling him the father of economic reforms and describing his passing as an irreparable loss. He noted that Dr. Singh’s leadership had brought immense honor to the Sikh community and praised his clean image and service as Prime Minister.

“His contributions will forever remain etched in our memories,” said Nishan Singh. “We pray to Waheguru to grant him a place in his feet and to give his family the strength to endure this loss.”

Jathedar Jarnail Singh led the prayer for Dr. Singh’s soul, while Huzuri Ragi Sandeep Singh Javdi sang a Shabad as a tribute. General Secretary Paramjit Singh Kale, Treasurer Jasbir Singh Gandhi, and several other community members, including Trilochan Singh Tochi and Surjit Singh Chhite, joined in paying their respects.
