The President of the country Draupadi Murmu is coming to Jharkhand on a two-day visit on February 14. She will participate in the platinum jubilee program of BIT Mesra, Ranchi.
After this, she will return to Delhi on February 15. Preparations for her arrival in Ranchi are going on in full swing.
Changes have also been made in the traffic system of Ranchi.
President Draupadi Murmu will stay at the Raj Bhavan in Ranchi. In view of this, separate arrangements have been made for transportation in Ranchi. No entry has been imposed from 6 am to 10 pm. Entry of small cargo vehicles has also been stopped in the city from 3 pm to 7 pm. From 3 pm to 6 pm, vehicles going towards Kanke, Ratu, Kanthitand, Daladli, Kathal Mor will be able to go towards their destination through Main Road, Lalpur Road, Kantatoli Road from the city.
Similarly, from 3 pm to 6 pm, the use of roads up to Airport Road, Hinoo Chowk, Birsa Chowk, Argora Chowk, Sahajanand Chowk, Bypass Road Kishoreganj Chowk, New Market Chowk, Hatlips Chowk, Raj Bhavan Mor will be minimized.
All vehicles coming towards the city from Kanke Road, Ratu Road, Kathal Mor, Kanthidand can enter the city via Kanke Ring Road, Lalpur Chowk and Kantatoli Road. Many roads can also be diverted and stopped.
Ranchi administration will ask passengers going to the airport on February 14 whose flight is between 4 to 5.30 pm, should reach the airport by 3.30 pm. Passengers going to the airport on 15th February, whose flight timing is between 11 am to 1.30 pm, should reach the airport by 11.30 am.
To go to the airport from the city on 14th and 15th February, one can go via Sadabahar Chowk and Ghaghra Road or via Basti.
The candidates of Matriculation and Intermediate have been told that for the morning shift examination, the students and teachers should reach the examination center by 9.30 am. Whereas, the candidates of the second shift should reach their examination center by 12 noon.
