Jadugoda: On the occasion of the 151st birth anniversary celebration of Mahatma Gandhi, Matigoda Panchayat Mukhiya Kartick Hembram inaugurated three solar powered water towers each costing Rs 3,76,806 in three localities or Tolas of Sanspur village. The water towers have been constructed as per provisions of the 14th Finance Commission. The towers have been constructed at Bhakt Tola, Majhi Tola and Dhivar Tola. The project was long awaited by the Sanspur villagers and with the installation of the three solar powered towers 150 families would be ensured of water supply. Others present on the occasion included Gram Pradhan Arvind Kumar Bhakt, Tola Pradhan Sunil Patra, Bhakho Hansda, Parvati Singh, Jaleshwar Verma, Vikram Singh, Shuruvati Hansda, Mandira Bhakt, Dipanshu Bhakt, Shrinivas Ram, Mangal Dhibar, Purnima Bhakt, Laxmi Singh, Malti Hansda, Phulmani Hansda and Rakesh Bhakt.
