Jamshedpur: The three-day Kirtan Darbar organised at Sakchi Gurdwara Sahib on the auspicious occasion of the 556th Prakashotsav of Guru Nanak Dev Ji Maharaj concluded on Friday in an atmosphere filled with deep reverence and devotion.
The final day’s Diwan resonated with divine energy as Bhai Sarabjit Singh Suchetgarh, Hazuri Ragi from Sri Darbar Sahib, Amritsar, presented the soulful Shabad Kirtan “Aval Allah Noor Upaya Kudrat Ke Sab Bande, Ek Noor Te Sab Jag Upjaya Kaun Bhale Ko Mandey.” His rendition conveyed Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s eternal message of equality and unity among all human beings.
During his Kirtan, Bhai Sarabjit Singh also sang “Amrit Har Ka Naam Hai Varshe Kripa Dhar,” explaining that the name of the Lord is divine nectar that showers upon all as grace. He emphasized that true peace can be attained by taking refuge in the Guru. The entire premises echoed with chants of “Satnaam Waheguru,” immersing the devotees in spiritual bliss.
Other Kirtani Jathas that enthralled the Sangat included the Sukhmani Sahib Kirtan Jatha, Sikh Women Satsang Sabha, Hazuri Ragi Gurdwara Sahib Sakchi, Bhai Narayan Singh Ji Amritsar, Giani Amritpal Singh Mannan, and Bhai Harpreet Singh Jethuwal Dhadhi Jatha.
Sardar Nishan Singh, Head of the Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee, Sakchi, said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s message “Ek Noor Te Sab Jag Upjaya” remains the strongest bond for humanity even today. True religion lies in love, equality, and selfless service.
Former General Secretary Paramjit Singh Kale added that Guru Nanak Dev Ji inspired mankind to walk the path of humility and service, and the three-day Kirtan Darbar reflected that spirit as the Sangat experienced peace and unity through Gurbani.
Prominent attendees included Bibi Ravinder Kaur, President, Central Sikh Women’s Satsang Sabha; Kamaljit Kaur, Chairman; Gurpreet Singh, President, Refugee Colony Gurdwara; Balbir Singh, President, Sonari Gurdwara; Daljit Singh; and Savinder Singh, President, Namda Basti Gurdwara. A large number of devotees bowed before the Guru and partook of the Langar Seva.
Under the leadership of Sardar Nishan Singh, the efforts of Paramjit Singh Kale, Ajaib Singh Bariyar, Satnam Singh Sidhu, Satbir Singh Goldu, Sunny Singh Bariyar, Jasbir Singh Gandhi, Surjit Singh Chhite, Satnam Singh Ghuman, Satpal Singh Raju, Trilochan Singh Tochi, Daljit Singh, Harvinder Singh, Harpal Singh Sidhu, Balbir Singh, Shyam Singh, Jaswinder Singh Randhawa Moni, Rohitdeep Singh, Rajinder Singh, Baldev Singh Babbu, Manjit Singh, Jagjit Singh, Manmeet Singh, Manohar Singh Mitte, and Gurpreet Singh was commendable in ensuring the success of the three-day event.
