Jamshedpur: Unidentified thieves took away cash and valuables worth over Rs 10 lakh from the residence of Ashok Tiwary, Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Department, East Singhbhum, late Wednesday night.
Tiwary was away with his family to watch ISL football match when the incident took place at his Floor Mill Road in Sakchi police station area.
Investigators said they were looking for leads into the theft.
