Saraikela, Oct 8: With temple gates being thrown open for devotees after seven months of lockdown, an air of elation and jopy prevailed among devotees and temple priests. The devotees who streamed into temples since early morning took care of wearing masks and maintaining social distancing of their own accord and they did not have to be coaxed or reminded. The priests said that a new phase had commenced wherein devotees would be able to communicate with God and seek blessings for themselves and pray for the eradication of coronavirus.
