Saraikela: A two day training programme for womren members of Self Help Groups (SHG) got underway today at Hatia in Saraikela Block. The Central Workers� Education Board of Jamshedpur Region is organizing this training workshop. The training programme was inaugurated by the Board�s regional Officer Rajkishore Gope who in his address stressed on the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic. he observed, �So far, no effective remedy has been discovered for containing COVID infection. The best measure to be adopted during these times is awareness. Wear masks, wash your hands with soap frequently, use sanitizers and maintain a distance of two meters at least.�

Programme coordinator Hemsagar Pradhan spelt out the purpose of this training workshop. On the first day, the participants were informed about the Kaushal Vikas Yojna, CM Janani Programme and the several bank loan schemes available for SHGs. Twenty five women are participating in this training workshop. All protocols are being followed during the impartation of training. Among those present at the inaugural session were Deputy Mukhiya Kunti Mahto, Gram Pradhan Sripati Mahto, Laxmi Mahto, Tapas Mahto, Babli Karua, Savita Mahto and Savitri Mahto.
COVID test for participants: The participating 25 women underwent COVID tests conductyed by staff members of Community Health centre. Saraikela ANM Khishita Khalkho, medical staff members Jagmohan Mahto and Jagdish Mahto conducted the tests. All the participants were found to be coronavirus negative.
