Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leaders and supporters gathered near the Jamshedpur Block Office in the Potka Assembly constituency to hold a Pathalgadi ceremony honouring party founder and Jharkhand movement architect, Shibu Soren (Dishom Guru).
The event served as a tribute to Soren’s lifelong struggle and his pivotal role in the creation of Jharkhand state.
Life-Size Statue Announced
During the ceremony, organizers announced the upcoming installation of a life-size statue of Shibu Soren. Speakers emphasized that the statue will serve as a permanent reminder for future generations of Soren’s sacrifices and his invaluable contributions to the region. Through the traditional Pathalgadi (stone engraving), the party aims to spread his ideals and vision to every citizen.
Workers Pledge Unity and Progress
JMM workers and supporters took a collective pledge to follow the path shown by Dishom Guru. The event highlighted the importance of social justice and the protection of regional identity. Key attendees included:
