Jamshedpur, March 15: Like every year, Shriman Premier League (SPL) 2017 kicked off at Armoury Ground on Wednesday.
This year a total of six teams are participating. Team Red, Team Pink, Team Blue, Team White, Team Green and Team Yellow. The tournament was inaugurated by Shriman Narayan Trigun, Satyendra Prasad and PK Dutta.
The first match of the tournament was played between Team Red and Team Pink where the latter defeated Team Red by 1 run. Total of six league matches were played where team Pink and Team Yellow made it to the final of the league. In the final team Yellow defeated team Pink to win the Shriman Premier League.
At the prize distribution function chief guest Rajkumar Singh, deputy chairperson, Zila Parishad presented the awards to the winners. The Chief Guest was also felicitated.
