Jamshedpur Police Arrest Five for Machete Attack Near Moon City

Jamshedpur: The Ulidih police have solved the recent machete attack near Moon City Sai Temple, restoring a sense of security to the neighborhood. Police officials arrested all five suspects involved in the assault and remanded them to judicial custody.

According to Ulidih OC Md. Sharik Ali, police identified the arrested individuals as:

• Rahul Sharma (Sharma Line, Ulidih)

• Shubham Singh (Bagan Area, Baliguma)

• Anees Mishra alias Anees Singh (Triveni Kishori Complex, Ulidih)

• Varun Pal (Asha Palace, Ulidih)

• Anees Singh (Old Purulia Road)

Using intelligence inputs and technical surveillance, police teams tracked down and apprehended the accused from various locations.

The case stems from a brutal attack several days ago, during which the suspects allegedly assaulted a youth, Kshitij Singh, with a sharp-edged weapon. The attack left the victim seriously injured and triggered widespread panic among local residents.

Following a formal complaint from the victim’s family, the Ulidih police launched a rapid investigation. Through coordinated raids and a targeted strategy, they successfully captured the entire group.

Reaffirming their zero-tolerance stance against crime, police authorities stated that they will continue to take strict action against anyone attempting to disrupt law and order.
