Jamshedpur, Sept. 16: SDSM School for Excellence conducted a two day CBSE Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on English Core at Centre of Excellence. 52 teachers from 33 schools participated in this programme.
Pragya Singh, Principal cum City Coordinator DAV Public School, Bistupur, Vipin Sharma, Advisor, Vidyabharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco, Samita Sinha, Principal, Surendranath Centenary School, Ranchi, Principal, Mina Wilkhu, Vidyabharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Telco. Rashmi Bhatia, Principal, Blue Bells English School, Mango and Moushumi Das, Principal, S.D.S.M. School for Excellence jointly inaugurated the session.
The objective of the training was to enable the teachers expand their repertoire of teaching techniques for their professional growth. It was also aimed at framing questions as per CBSE norms Teachers were also provided tips on modules of conducting prose and fiction lessons.
The resource persons of the Capacity Building Programme on English Core Vipin Sharma & Samita Sinha guided and motivated the teachers of various CBSE schools to bring in quality in education and its methodology. During the two day session various activities were conducted on Teaching, Pedagogy, Class room delivery techniques and adequate methods of illustrating prose and poem through the principles of Booms Taxonomy.
The two day session concluded with the valedictory ceremony during which teachers were presented certificates of participation.
