Teachers felicitated on Teachers� Day at SDSM

Jamshedpur: Teachers� Day was celebrated at SDSM School on Friday. The function was organized in two sessions.

The first session was celebrated to pay tributes to S Radhakrishnan while the second session was spent on watching the live telecast of the speech of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The programme started with Saraswati Vandana.

The school principal Shyamali Virdi inaugurated the programme by garlanding the portrait of S Radhakrishnan. She congratulated all teachers of the school on the occasion of Teacher�s Day and spoke on the significance of education. She asked the students to become disciplined and be respectful towards their teachers and parents.

A cultural programme was later organized by the students. Various sports events were organized for the students. The teachers of the school were felicitated on the occasion.

Among others present during the function included school managing committee president Diwakar Singh and vice principal Ragini Singh.
