Jamshedpur, Jan 3: Vande Bharat train service may soon start from Tatanagar station in the New Year 2023.
According to sources, Union Ministry for Railways has sought proposal from Chakradharpur railway division in this regard. After Ranchi, the train service would be started from Tatanagar. In the first phase, the train would run from Tatanagar to Howrah or from Tatanagar to Bhuvneshwar.
DRM AJ Rathore said the Railway Board was directly dealing with the operations of Vande Bharat trains and hence only the Board could divulge the details.
Sources said the Vande Bharat train proposed to run from Ranchi to Howrah would cover the distance in 4 hours and 55 minutes.
All train berths would have charging points beneath them along with numerous other amenities in the compartments. This year, 15 railway stations of Chakradharpur division will get facelift, said the DRM, adding further that roof plaza and city centres would also be built in the long term.

Wonderful
So many thanks to railway
This govt. has done fantastic work in all departments. The development in railways are noteworthy.
Why nothing like this was thought by previous govts,?
Previous govt did not give importance to people’s safety, commfort by improving train quality and punctuality.
Yes very true. Modi govt is doing excellent all-round devlopment in the country
Railway minister too is a gem and top task master. Request consider atleast one vande bharat train from /to Bhubaneswar. Odisha as it is least connected with most of the districts compared to other Northen or southern states
Meanwhile rest of trains, stations ignored in favour of Modi dream project meant only for Affluent.
For more than 60 years the Congress government was just sleeping and the political leaders enjoyed just like kings at the cost of poor and middle classes. We are very lucky to have such a responsible government at the centre.
Welcome Bande Bharat.. but what about the quality maintenance of other normal trains which are mostly used by non-affluent people of India.
Perhaps the pe0ple have not seen conditions of the training the of⁴t6h
Tatanagar to patna train required.
last month I spent only 320 to reach Bhubaneswar let see much this time
Taranagar to Bhubaneswar will connect to entire south..
Astonishing, no train connectivity from Kolkata to industrial hub of Odisha ie Angul.
Vande Bharat is for Richman, as it’s fare is too high.
