Tatanagar: Railway adds extra coaches to Jammu Tawi, Rajdhani Express  

Jamshedpur: In response to the rising passenger numbers during Diwali and Chhath Puja, the railway authorities have announced the addition of four extra coaches across three trains operating from Tata Nagar. Starting this Friday, the Tata Nagar-Ara Express will have one chair car and one Third AC coach added, while the Tata Nagar-Jammu Tawi Express will see the addition of one sleeper coach.

As per orders issued by the South Eastern Railway, both these trains will have extra coaches until November 14. Additionally, the Bhubaneswar-Delhi Rajdhani Express will have an extra Third AC coach. Notably, the Puri-Rishikesh Utkal Express has already had an additional Third AC coach since November 5. On Thursday, an extra coach was also added to the Howrah-Shirdi Sai Express, accommodating a significant number of passengers from Tata Nagar.

Furthermore, stations including Ranchi, Hatia, Rourkela, Howrah, and Puri have received orders to add extra coaches to seven trains until November 14, ensuring the convenience of passengers during the festive season. The addition of extra coaches is a measure taken to address the increased waiting lists, providing relief to passengers and ensuring a smoother travel experience.
