Tatanagar: Train services to hit due to developmental works in Adra Division

Jamshedpur: In a move aimed at facilitating crucial developmental works within the Adra Division of South Eastern Railway, a series of regulatory measures have been announced, impacting several train services. The changes, effective from specific dates, include cancellations, short terminations, and diversions of trains to ensure the smooth execution of the development projects.

Cancellation of Trains: The following train services have been officially canceled due to the ongoing developmental works: 08671/08672 Adra-Bhaga-Adra MEMU Special: Journeys commencing on 13.11.2023, 15.11.2023, 17.11.2023, and 18.11.2023 will remain canceled, inconveniencing regular commuters on these dates.

Short Termination/Short Origination of Trains: Certain train services will experience short termination or short origination at specific stations during the development period. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly. The affected services are as follows: 08680/08679 Adra-Midnapur-Adra MEMU Special: Journeys commencing on 13.11.2023, 15.11.2023, 16.11.2023, and 18.11.2023 will be short terminated at/short originated from Chandrakona Road.

08680/08679 Adra-Midnapore-Adra MEMU Special: Journeys commencing on 14.11.2023 & 17.11.2023 will be short terminated at/short originated from Bankura.

Diversion of Train: To accommodate the ongoing developmental works, a significant train service will undergo a temporary route diversion:

18601 Tatanagar-Hatia Express: Journeys commencing on 13.11.2023, 15.11.2023, and 17.11.2023 will run on a diverted route via Chandil-Gunda Bihar-Muri. Passengers relying on this service are advised to plan their travel accordingly, considering the altered route.

The South Eastern Railway authorities have urged passengers to stay updated with the latest information and announcements, considering the dynamic nature of the developmental works.
