Jamshedpur, March 31: A day after locals under the banner of Rail Kriyanusthan Committee held a ‘rail roko’ at the Bamra railway station in Sambalpur district (Odisha) demanding the stoppage of various trains at the railway station, South Eastern Railway has been decided to have experimental stoppage of three trains at Bamra railway station.
According to railway, 22839/22840 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Express, 12834/12833 Howrah-Ahmedabad-Howrah Express and 13288/13287 Rajendra Nagar-Durg-Rajendra Nagar Express will stop at Bamra on an experimental basis for a period of six months from April 1.
22839 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar Express will arrive at Bamra at 06.09 am and depart at 06:11 am. In the opposite direction, 22840 Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Express will arrive at Bamra at 08.01 pm and will depart at 08.03 pm.
12834 Howrah-Ahmedabad Express will at arrive Bamra at 06.43 am and will depart at 06:45 am. In the opposite direction, 12833 Ahmedabad-Howrah Express will arrive at Bamra at 05.53 am and depart at 05.55 am.
13288 Rajendra Nagar-Durg Express will arrive at Bamra at 11.53 am and depart at 11.55 am. In the opposite direction, 13287 Durg-Rajendra Nagar Express will arrive at Bamra at 02.07 pm and depart at 02.09 pm.
It may be mentioned that train services of South Eastern Railway ( SER) were disrupted due to agitation by a group of people at Bamra station in the Rourkela-Jharsuguda section of Chakradharpur Division. As a result, several trains were cancelled /short terminated/controlled on Wednesday, March 30.
