Tata Steel West Bokaro Division celebrates ‘World Wildlife Week’

Ramgarh, Oct 6 : Environment Department of Tata Steel West Bokaro Division celebrated World Wildlife Week today.
This year’s theme is “Forests and Livelihoods; Sustaining People and Planet”. World Wildlife Week is being celebrated from 2-8 October. It is aimed to highlight the importance of wildlife conservation and to make the community aware to conserve them.
On this occasion, a program of Quiz and Dumb Charades was organized among the students of Holy Cross School, Ghatotand to create awareness among the students about the importance of wildlife conservation and their protection.
About 150 children participated in the program. Teachers of the school were also present on the occasion.
During World Wildlife Week, individuals and organizations are encouraged to take action to protect forests and the wildlife that depend on them. This includes planting trees, supporting sustainable forestry practices, reducing deforestation and advocating for policies that promote conservation.
