Tata Steel VP Arun Misra resigns, Sundara Ramam takes over

Jamshedpur: Tata Steel announced changes in senior leadership of its Raw Material Division. Arun Misra, the incumbent Vice President, Raw Material, Tata Steel, has decided to move on to pursue opportunities outside the Tata Group.
Subsequent to Misra�s movement, D. B. Sundara Ramam, will take charge as Vice President, Raw Material, Tata Steel, effective November 1, 2019. SundaraRamam is currently the Principal Executive Officer in the office of CEO & MD and is posted at Jamshedpur.
Sundara Ramam joined Tata Steel as a Graduate Trainee in 1990 after completing B.Sc. Engineering in Mining discipline from NIT, Rourkela. In his initial years, he has had exposures in various roles across operations and maintenance in the Raw Material division. In 2006, he was appointed as Chief S E Block, West Bokaro. In 2010, he was appointed as General Manager (OMQ), and in 2013, he was appointed as Executive-In-Charge, Ferro Alloys & Minerals Division.
Arun Misra completed his graduation in Electrical Engineering from IIT, Kharagpur in the year 1988 and joined Tata Steel�s Jharia Division in the same year as Graduate Engineer Trainee. During his illustrious career with the Company, Mr Misra held several critical portfolios and made significant contribution to the success of operations under his charge.
