
Joda, Sept. 18: Under the 12th edition of Tata Volunteering week, Tata Steel officials of Joda celebrated a day with the children of Class I studying in Joda West Hindi UPME School, Joda on Monday.
Apart from a fun-filled session with the children, the officials distributed notebooks and chocolates to 30 children.
Rajesh Kumar, Chief, Joda (Tata Steel) along with Mr Anil Prasad, Head, Civil & Structural, Joda East, H K Nayak, General Secretary, Union, JCO, B K Sethi, President, Union, JCO, Stanley Benjamin, Manager, Administration along with officials of Tata Steel and TSRDS participated in the event.
It may be noted here that Tata Volunteering Week (TVW), celebrated in March and September every year, brings together Tata employees, their family members and retired Tata colleagues worldwide to participate in small acts of volunteering. In this regard, a beeline of activities has been planned at Joda which includes awareness sessions, blood donation camp, competitions among school children, etc.
