Jamshedpur, January 23: Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) is hosting 5th edition of Tata Steel Sport Climbing Championship 2025 at TSAF Sport Climbing Academy, JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur from January 24 to 27. The event will witness participation of 270 athletes from 5 countries.
There is a pre-competition phase involving 500 athletes from TSAF, out of which 88 athletes have been selected from the TSAF ecosystem for the above championship.
The Tata Steel Sport Climbing Championship (TSSCC) had begun in 2019 and has grown into India’s largest sport climbing championship. It offers a platform for both new and experienced climbers to display their skills, dedication, and passion for the sport.
TSAF successfully hosted the 4 editions of the Tata Steel Sport Climbing Championship in 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024, IFSC Asian Kids Sport Climbing Championship in 2022 & 2023 and the IFSC Asian Youth Sport Climbing Championship 2024, which featured 189 athletes and 51 officials from 13 countries in the JRD Tata Sports Complex, Jamshedpur.
