Jamshedpur: Tata Steel is participating in MMMM (Minerals, Metals, Metallurgy and Materials) 2014, 10th International Exhibition & Conference inaugurated today at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Traditional lighting of the lamp, bouquet welcome to the guests and introductory speeches marked the opening ceremony of the exhibition. Chief Guest Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister of Mines, Steel, Labour and Employment gave the inaugural address. Other dignitaries present at the event included K L Mehrotra, Chief Convenor, World Metal Forum, S C Puri, Chairman, IIM–DC, Nik Rudge, Regional Director, Rest of the World, ITE Group PLC.
The Exhibition was inaugurated by the Union Minister who also visited the Tata Steel pavilion.
The Pavilion exhibits different focus areas of the company including R&D, Products & Brands, CSR, Environment & Mining Initiatives, Global Operations highlights, and Kalinganagar Project. An overview of the futuristic and upcoming Kalinganagar Plant was also presented.
