Tata Steel Noamundi celebrates 179th founder’s day

Noamundi: Tata Steel Noamundi on Saturday celebrated the 179th founder’s day in the company premises. Himanshu Sarangi, head, weight and dry process operation and Equipment maintenance, Noamundi Iron Mines, Tata Steel, and KC Das, head, administration, OMQ Division, Tata Steel along with senior executives of the company and union leaders paid floral tributes to JN Tata. On the day a prabhat pheri was taken out where students from various schools of the area participated. School students also paid homage to the founder.
Later, sweets were distributed among the school students and fruits among the hospital patients. Company officials along with their wives were also part of the celebration. In the evening, an Open quiz on JN Tata was held at Darobji Tata Park.
