Jamshedpur, September 18: An agreement on employees’ bonus at Tata Steel Downstream Product Limited (TSDPL) was finalized today at the Kolkata head office. Under the new agreement, 568 employees will receive 18.38% bonus, totaling Rs 3.74 crore. Of these, 300 employees from Jamshedpur will benefit, with individual bonuses ranging between Rs 42,073 and Rs 1,11,634.
The bonus payments will be deposited into the employees’ accounts on September 20. Additionally, the management has introduced a medical separation scheme, which was detailed by Karan Lakhani during the discussions. This scheme, aimed at supporting medically unfit employees, will be implemented soon.
Union President Rakeshwar Pandey encouraged employees to wisely use and invest their bonus for their children’s future. The agreement was signed by MD Sandeep Kumar, VP Avinash Mehta, CHRVO Karan Lakhani, Chief HR Sanjay Majumdar, and other management representatives, along with union leaders including Rakeshwar Pandey and General Secretary Aman.
