Jamshedpur, February 10: Tata Motors, a trailblazer in the automotive industry, in collaboration with Titan Eye, has launched a comprehensive initiative to enhance road safety by addressing vision impairments among commercial vehicle drivers.
This program, designed to improve the health and well-being of drivers, targets over 4,000 commercial vehicle operators in and around Jamshedpur. Through free eye screenings and the provision of prescription lenses at no cost, the initiative aims to ensure clearer vision for drivers, contributing to safer roads and a reduction in accidents caused by impaired vision.

A study conducted by Titan Eye shows that one in three commercial vehicle drivers suffers from compromised vision, underscoring the urgency of this intervention. The eye care program builds on the success of Tata Motors’ Driver’s Dignity Program and demonstrates the company’s unwavering commitment to driver welfare and road safety.
Over the next month, the program will extend to multiple commercial vehicle depots across Jamshedpur, ensuring wide accessibility for drivers. This partnership between Tata Motors and Titan Eye highlights a shared commitment to fostering safer roads and better living conditions for India’s commercial vehicle drivers.
