Jamshedpur, Aug 1: R.V.S. Academy hosted ASISC Regional Declamation Contest on Thursday. The customary practice of lighting the ceremonial lamp was done by members of the managing committee. The eloquent orators presented the speeches of eminent personalities. The speakers gathered a plethora of appreciation. The Declamation contest was categorized into two groups “The Junior” and “The Senior”. Students from Carmel School Digwadih, St Xavier �s School Doranda, Ranchi, Gulmohar High School Jamshedpur, St. Clare �s School, Lokai, Deoghar, St Joseph �s School, Bhagalpur were part of the junior declamation.
In the senior category students of St Xavier � s School Doranda, Ranchi , De Nobilli School Digwadih, Dhanbad, St Joseph �s Convent High School, Patna, Tarapore School, Agrico, Jamshedpur, St . Francis School, Deoghar, Mount Assissi School, Bhagalpur participated.
These types of contests exfoliate the soft skill presentation and elevate self confidence. The judges panel constituted Mita Lal, Miss Mona Bahadur and Varsha Chand who have proven their versatility in the realm of English. The winner in senior category was Kaushal Naik of Tarapore school, Agrico, Jamshedpur who bagged the first place, followed by Agnes Garner of Denobili School, Digwadih, Dhanbad and Pratyaksha Ranjan of Mount Assisi School, Bhagalpur.
In the Junior category- Sheersh Sen of St. Xavier�s School, Doranda, Ranchi
bagged the first spot, Aayushi Shresth
of St. Clare�s School. Local, Deoghar was second while Saanvi of Gulmohar High
School, Jamshedpur was adjudged the second runners-up. The program concluded with the
prize distribution ceremony.
