Jamshedpur: A group of 40 students of Upgraded Middle School, Tangrain, visited PM Mall at Bistupur on an excursion in a bid to understand markets, their functioning and importance in economy.
The children also visited Haldipokhar Haat and Parsudih Krishi Bazar Samiti to understand rural economy, courtesy the school Headmaster Arbind Tiwary who explained various concepts such as sale, purchase, profit, loss, currency, exchange and godown to the young minds.
The students were also accompanied by Rajesh Jha, Surabhi Sharma, Rahul Singh and Anand Mahato of Centre for World Solidarity.
