Surabhi team spreads Dipawali cheer at Baradwari Gandhi Ashram

Jamshedpur, Nov 2:  Members of the women’s wing of Marwari Yuva Manch (MYM) steel city, Surabhi, as a part of the organization’s social responsibility, visited Gandhi Ashram in Baradwari on Tuesday and distributed clay lamps, toys, crackers and sweet packets as Dipawali gifts to the children to spread festive cheer among them and their families. The programme was sponsored by Pinky, Nibha Modi and Priti Budhia.

The Surabhi team was led by the organization’s president Manisha Sanghi and included secretary Kavita Agrawal, Babita, Pinky Ringasia, Parul Chetani, Pinky Chhavchharia, Usha Chaudhary, Jyoti Agarwal, Rajni Bansal, Nidhi Agarwal, Varsha Chaudhary and Kavita Chaudhary. Manisha observed on the occasion, “Dipawali is the festival of lights that radiate the glow of wellbeing, joy and prosperity. This humble efforts of Surabhi’s to share the festive joy and the reflection that dominated the countenances of the children and elders on receiving the gifts, cannot be described in words.”

Secretary, Kavita Agrawal said, “Yes, their joy is contagious. No amount of poverty or struggle can harnass their unbound joy that we experienced today.”

Social activists Omprakash Ringasia, Sanwarmal Agrawal, president of Zila Agarwal Sammelan, Santosh Agarwal and Murari Agarwal were also present on the occasion.
