Jamshedpur, Mar 19:The popular Chhattisgarhi-language film Lockdown Ke Maya will be screened at Miraj Cinema, Golmuri, starting Friday, March 21, 2025. Director Mohammad Habib and producer Dr. J.K. Devangan announced the film’s release via a press statement on Wednesday.
The film has been a major hit in Chhattisgarh, gaining significant popularity among audiences. Its six songs have received widespread appreciation, with the track Mar Dare crossing 2 million views and inspiring over 2 lakh reels on social media. The cast includes Nitin Gwala, Shiva Sahu, Sneha Devangan, Pushpendra Singh, Kranti Dixit, Sanju Sahu, Lata Rahi and Urvashi Sahu.
According to producer Dr. J.K. Devangan, the film is not just about entertainment but also highlights Chhattisgarhi culture, struggles and sensitivities. He believes it will resonate with Chhattisgarhi-origin audiences in Jamshedpur and also appeal to cinema lovers of other linguistic backgrounds.
