Jamshedpur, July 12: DAV Public School, Bistupur hosted Super Achievers’ Award Ceremony 2025 at the XLRI Auditorium, celebrating a legacy of excellence, dedication, and student accomplishments. The event was marked by recognition of outstanding talent in academics, co-curricular, and national-level achievements.
Principal and ARO, Pragya Singh, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the school’s significant strides in academics, sports, innovation, and community engagement over the past year. She also emphasized the school’s continued focus on competency-based education that developed students’ knowledge, skills, and values.
In her welcome address, Pragya Singh encouraged holistic growth and urged parents to focus equally on their children’s emotional and academic development. “Today, we not only celebrate attainments but also the collective spirit of these high-flyers,” she said while congratulating the awardees and thanking the parents for their unwavering support.
Chief Guest Bidyut Baran Mahato, Member of Parliament, Jamshedpur, along with Prof. Shukla Mahanty, Advisor (Academics) to the Governor of Odisha, graced the event. Other dignitaries included P.K. Bhuiyan (Principal, DAV Noamundi), Varun Bajaj (Executive Member, LMC), and Satish Singh (Executive Member, Tata Workers’ Union).
Varun Bajaj delivered the keynote address, motivating students to keep striving for greatness, while Satish Singh underscored the importance of values, health, and academics as the pillars of student life.
A cultural programme followed, themed “Earth Odyssey”, showcasing students’ talents through dance, music, and drama focused on environmental sustainability and the planet’s well-being.
The Prize Distribution Ceremony was the highlight of the event. A total of 191 students were honoured for their excellence in AISSE and AISSCE, over 35 were class toppers, 45 students were celebrated for their success in IIT-JEE Mains, 16 for IIT-JEE Advanced, 4 for NEET, 2 for CLAT, 1 for CPT, and 31 students for their achievements in DAV National Sports. Additionally, 8 students received special awards for 100% attendance.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Head Girl Pragya Sharma, followed by the National Anthem. (w/gsd)
