Jamshedpur, Jan 3: Former Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri arrived in Jamshedpur on Thursday night ahead of Bengaluru FC’s Indian Super League (ISL) clash against Jamshedpur Football Club (JFC). The match is scheduled to take place on January 4 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex. Chhetri, who recently retired from international football but continues to shine in club football, was warmly welcomed by the staff at Hotel Ramada in Bistupur, where the team is staying. Bengaluru FC is set to practice on Friday at Flatlets ground in Kadma from 4 pm to prepare for the crucial match. Fans are eagerly anticipating a thrilling encounter between the two teams, with Chhetri playing a pivotal role for Bengaluru FC.
