Jamshedpur, Jan 6: Although celebrations had started a year back, members of the Bistupur-based The Milanee, the oldest club of the city have reserved the best for the last.
Celebrations which kicked off on Saturday, Jan 4 continued on Monday with Nazrul Geeti and Bhajan. The competition held under three different categories were in the Bhajan event in the senior category Group A (12-16 years) saw Sudisha Mukherjee as the winner, Rajat Choudhary was second while Kena Kafri came third.
In Group B (8-12 years) Ariti Saha was first, Payal Manna came second while Akash Aman and
Kabir Biswal were tied third.
In Group C (5-8 years) Ankita Dey Laik was first, Shreya Kumari Jha was second while Ipsha Dutta came third.
In the Nazrul Geeti event senior category Group A (12-16 years) Sudisha Mukherjee was first, Kena Kafri was second while Monalisha Kumari was third.
In group B ( 8-12 years) Ariti Saha was first, Ivee Dutta was second while Sinjini Gucchait was third. In group C (5-8 years) Ipsha Dutta was first, Ankita Dey Laik was second while Sohini Guchhait was third.
The competition is duly judged by Supriti Karmakar & Dipankar Mukherjee. On Tuesday, Jan 7 Bengali modern song competition will be held.
