Seraikela, Jan 6: At the legal awareness camp held at Kashisahu College in Seraikela women were advised on taking precautionary measures during the pregnancy period.
The camp headed by Secretary AK Singh saw several women taking part in the camp.
The women participants were informed about prohibition of sex selection and were told that the latest technologies are used to detect if a child in a woman�s womb in not suffering from disability and the technology should not be used to check the sex of a child.
The participants were also told about presentation prior diagnosis and technology which is playing a vital role today.
