Jamshedpur, June 22: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) on Wednesday felicitated meritorious students who excelled at the ICSE and ISC exam 2016.
The managing Committee of the school organized the felicitation program,which was attended by parents, students, faculty and staff.
The program was a proud moment as parents and teachers sat back to see their loved ones being honored. �Silver Salvers were presented to ISC Science topper for scoring Alik Sarkar 97.5% marks, while ISC Commerce topper Sudipta Das who scored 91.75% marks was also awarded silver salver.
All other students of ISC who topped various subjects were presented with trophies and certificates.
ICSE topper Abhigyan Kishore 96% along with other students who scored more than 90% at ICSE were awarded scholarship ranging from Rs 2000 to Rs 3000. �Syed Abid Abdullah and Atul Kumar received silver coins for obtaining good scores in IIT JEE exam.
A. K. Dubey, chairman, school management committee, Dr. D.P. Shukla, secretary and Advisor to Chairman J. L. Admani and Anurag Agnihotri from Tata Steel awarded the students.
All dignitaries spoke at length about the need for children to know their strengths and ward off their weakness. They have to raise above all odds and work for a better future. Other members of the school managing committee were also present on the occasion.
Earlier the principal AshuTiwary welcomed the parents and students. She stated that the performance of the Boards were a reflection of the collective efforts of the students, parents and school faculty.
She wished the students reached greater heights but all along in life they will keep facing challenges, they should take those challenges as an opportunity for growth and to begin again more intelligently.
