Jamshedpur, August 7: Govind Vidyalaya, Tamulia organized a programme that saw the formation of the School’s Students’ Council for the session 2023-‘24 on Monday. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Major (Dr) Fakhruddin Ahmad, Coy Commander (NCE Officer) of 2/37 Jharkhand NCC Battalion. The Guest of Honour was LAC Gurpreet Singh, from the Department of Missiles, Indian Air Force. The badges of recognition were presented to the new Councillors. School Secretary, Abhishek Sharma, Principal Krishna Modak, and the In-charge of the Student Council, Naushad Razia were present on the occasion. The Chief Guest addressed and congratulated the new members of the Student Council.
The proceedings were anchored by Sarah Ali of IX C while the vote of thanks was proposed by Saleha Perween of XII A.
The incoming Students’ Council for the session 2023-’24 comprises President: Rehan Khan (XI A), Vice President: Amreen Khan (XI A), Secretary: Adarsh Kumar Ojha (XI A)
Joint Secretary: Antara Kumari (XI A), School Captain (Boys): Zakir Ahmed (XI B), School Captain (Girls): Afreen Siddiqui (XI A), School Vice-Captain (Boys): Md Dilshan (XI A) and School Vice-Captain (Girls): Diksha Kumari (XI B).
