Steel City to experience soulful music

Jamshedpur: Ghazal enthusiast of Steel city can look forward to an evening of quality rhythmical adventure on August 23 as �Prince of Ghazals� Ranjeet Rajwada promises to bring alive and refresh memories of yesteryears, performances by the stalwarts of the genre like Ustad Ghulam Ali, Jagjit Singh, Mehdi Hasan Sahab and more.

The evening seems to be soulful and exciting at 1050 seat capacity of Rabindra Bhavan (Tagore Academy), Sakchi. Ranjeet Rajwada has been a finalist at Zee TV�s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2010.

Organised by Urban Services of Tata Steel which has earlier hosted several programmes including Hasya Kavi Sammelan and a musical evening Jeena isi Ka Naam Hai seeks to draw youths to the event and can be motivated by the emerging Rajwada.

Addressing the media, Krishna Nandan, Chief, Corporate Relations, Tata Steel said �We choose Ranjeet Rajwada for the event as he is one of the emerging artists of the country and he can be a motivational inspiration to the youth of the city and for that fact we are showcasing young and very talented Maestro to mesmerize the evening with ghazals. Ranjeet came in the limelight from Zee TV�s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstars, where he was the only Ghazal singer in the entire show. Thereafter his fan following has shot tremendously here in India and even overseas�.

Chief of Urban Services, Sanjay said one of the motive behind organizing such events is to preserve our Art and culture and to promote in the city. Chief Guest for the occasion will be Md. Nehal, DIG, Kolhan Range, added Sanjay.

Krishna Nandan further informed that Urban Services has future plans also were in September Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs will be organized in September followed by Mushaira Evening and Hasya Kavi Sammelan in October.
