JUSCO School South Park hosts commerce fest
Jamshedpur, Nov 26: The fourth edition of ECONOVISTA 2K24, organized by JUSCO School South Park, concluded on a high note with St. Mary’s English High School clinching the Overall Championship Trophy. The event, held on November 26 at the school premises, saw participation from 600 students across 23 schools.
The day began with an inaugural ceremony featuring Chief Guest Deepak P Kamath, CEO of Tata Steel Support Services Ltd., and Guest of Honour A F Madon, Administrator of JEM Foundation. Other dignitaries included Jiju Thomas, Senior Manager at JEM Foundation, and Rakesh Pandey, Vice Principal of KHS. The ceremony started with the lighting of the lamp, followed by an electrifying performance by the school band and a mesmerizing dance routine by the school troupe.
Mili Sinha, Principal of JUSCO School South Park, welcomed the guests and participants, emphasizing the importance of events like ECONOVISTA in providing students a platform to showcase their talents and interact with peers. In his address, Kamath encouraged students to embrace such opportunities, stating that education combined with passion is the key to success.
The fest featured 12 on-stage and off-stage events, offering students a chance to demonstrate their skills in various domains. Judges commended the participants’ efforts and creativity, praising the seamless organization of the event. The Senior Secondary School teachers, including Uday Choudhary, Supriya Paul, Sarojini Banra, and Jyoti Mahato, were applauded for their hard work in making the event a success.
During the prize distribution ceremony, Jiju Thomas and Mili Sinha presented trophies to the winners. St. Mary’s High School emerged as the overall champion, while JUSCO School Kadma secured the Runner-Up Trophy, marking the end of a vibrant and competitive day.
