JAMSHEDPUR – The Commerce Club of the Department of Commerce and Business Management held Comquest 2K26 on February 24 at the university’s Bistupur campus. The event, organized under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Dr. (Prof.) Anjila Gupta, aimed to bridge the gap between academic theory and practical corporate management.
Dr. Kamini Kumari, Head of the Department, opened the proceedings by highlighting the event’s role in the holistic development of commerce students. “This platform is designed to connect students with the functional areas of commerce and foster a deep understanding of the business world,” she stated.
Event Highlights and Results
The day featured ten distinct competitions coordinated by Dr. Deepa Sharan, Dr. Gloria Purti, and Dr. Chhagan Lal Agarwal.

Corporate Roadies: Priyanshi Gope took top honors, followed by Srishti Priya and Noha Mardi.

Commerce Courtroom: The duo of Kumari Aradhya Rai and Sanskriti Singh secured first place.

Logo Hunt: Srishti Priya claimed the first-place position.
Academic Impact
The program concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr. Gloria Purti. The event saw full participation from M.Com and B.Com students, providing a venue for them to demonstrate leadership and managerial skills. Comquest 2K26 marks a significant addition to the department’s 2026 academic calendar.
