Ranchi, April 24: Students of St. Aloysius’ Montessori School, on Dr. Camille Bulcke Path in Ranchi, took out a street rally to raise awareness about water conservation. Forming a human chain along the footpath, children from nursery to middle school, accompanied by parents and teachers held placards with messages propagating the preservation of water resources.
With slogans echoing through the streets, the young activists engaged with passersby, urging them to adopt water-saving practices such as turning off taps when not in use, planting trees, and embracing rainwater harvesting techniques. Principal, Brother Mike emphasized the urgent need for water conservation, highlighting the looming water crisis not only by Ranchi but also by numerous cities worldwide.
The event, organized by the school, aimed to educate students, families, and neighbors about the critical importance of water conservation and to inspire collective action in addressing this pressing issue.
