Two day National Seminar on Education Post NEP – 2020 at Srinath University concludes

Jamshedpur, March 29: The two day National Seminal on Higher Education Post NEP 2020: Expansion, Quality and Excellence organized jointly by Srinath University and Srinath College of Education concluded on Wednesday. The programme commenced with felicitation of eminent guests and speakers from across the country by  Dr. Gobind Mahto, Vice chancellor of Srinath University.

 Prof (Dr) N.K Agrawal ,Academic Advisor, State Nodal officer, NAAC, Government of Bihar was  the  chief guest of the Plenary Session that was coordinated by Shashi Kant Singh , Assistant Professor from the Department of Engineering of Srinath University.

Dr Dara Singh , NSS Coordinator of Kolhan University, Chaibasa was the keynote speaker at  the plenary session.

Dr. Atul Kothari, Secretary of the Education culture up-lift Trust (ECUT), Delhi Was the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Session which was coordinated by.Shalini Chakraborty, Assistant Professor from the Department of English of Srinath University. Dr VK Singh, Registrar of Sarla Birla University, Ranchi , Prof. (Dr). Anjila Gupta, Vice Chancellor of Jamshedpur Womens University and Prof. (Dr) Gopal Pathak, Vice Chancellor of Sarla Birla University Ranchi were  the Distinguished guests and speakers of the Valedictory Session.

Dr Dara Singh observed, “NEP 2020 has introduced major revamps in the Indian education system after 34 years. With the introduction of technology and innovation , and holistic approach in the education system, students will not  only become adepts in multiple fields but will also enrich  the social, emotional and physical well- being of the students.” Prof.(Dr ) N.K Agarwal averred,  “Unlike other sectors, the education system should also be bolstered.NEP 2020 has brought major revamps in the education system after 34 years. NEP 2020 focuses on the holistic and Multidisciplinary approach in Education .The aim of NEP 2020 is to prepare students for global competitions. Education should not just be confined to enhancing knowledge but it should also lead  to the all-round development of a student. With the emergence of the internet chances for moving forward and catching up with dream career perspectives have opened up.” The vote of thanks was presented by Rachna Rashmi , Dean of Student Welfare of Srinath University.
