‘Srijani Carnival 2026’ concludes in Jamshedpur with celebration of art and talent

Jamshedpur, April 6: The two-day ‘Srijani Carnival 2026,’ featuring drawing and dance competitions, concluded with a vibrant closing ceremony at the Kali Puja Committee Hall in Sonari’s Kagalnagar area. The event was organized by the socio-cultural group ‘Banashree Sarkar and Group.’

Prominent guests at the celebration included Vikas Mukherjee, president of the Jharkhand Bangabhashi Samanvay Samiti, social worker Shyamoli Mukherjee and cultural activist Puravi Ghosh. Winners of the competitions were honored with prizes during the ceremony.

In the drawing competition, first prizes were awarded to Anisha Das (Group A), Arushi (Group B), Soumai Das Sharma (Group C), and Akanksha Karak (Group D). In the dance category, Kavya Agarwal (Group A), Oishini Singha (Group B), and Poulami (Group C) secured top positions.

The judging panel for drawing included Raju Mukherjee, Beauty Tiwari and Tapasi Roy, while Dr. Sayantani Banerjee judged the dance competition.

Several distinguished personalities, including Banashree Sarkar, Sandeep Sinha Choudhury, Shilpi Singh, Abhishek Singh, Gobind Mukherjee, Shampa Ganguly, Arun Dasgupta, Soma Ghosh and Sulekha Dey, were also present, making the event a grand celebration of creativity and cultural expression.
