Jamshedpur: A one-day sit-in protest was held at Tatanagar Railway Station today against persistent train delays. Led by MLA Saryu Roy, the Purvi Singhbhum Zila Marwari Sammelan (PSZMS) demanded immediate improvements in rail services and the introduction of a direct train connecting Tatanagar to Jaipur.
Protesters displayed banners reading ‘Start Direct Rail Service from Tata to Jaipur’ to highlight the long-pending demand. PSZMS District President Mukesh Mittal stated that despite multiple requests to the Central Government and railway authorities, no action had been taken. The Sammelan vowed to continue raising the demand until the direct rail service was implemented.
