Sreeleathers organizes blood donation camp in remembrance of Suresh Chandra Dey

Subashish Dey vows to walk on the path laid down by founder

Jamshedpur, May 21: Sreeleathers Sakchi on Friday paid rich tributes to its founder and freedom fighter Suresh Chandra Dey on the occasion of 31st death anniversary. A blood donation camp was also organized by Sreeleathers Sakchi with the joint support of Team Sangharsh Pariwar and BSSR Union along with Bodam Zila Parishad member Swapan Kumar Mahato in Jamshedpur Blood Bank on May 21. The camp was inaugurated by Suresh Chandra Dey’s grandson Subashish Dey. Amid Covid-19 lockdown, 178 units of blood was collected during the day long camp. People in large number following Covid-19 protocols paid tributes to Suresh Chandra Dey. On the occasion Subashish Dey pledged to walk on the path laid down by the founder. He also encouraged the blood donors.

Earlier guests at the event shed light on the life of Suresh Chandra Dey. His contribution towards the nation as a freedom fighter and social work he carried out were highlighted during the event. To make the event successful BSSR Union member BS Prakash Rao, Officials of Jamshedpur Blood Bank and others provided full support.
