Jamshedpur, May 5: Popular footwear brand, Sreeleathers organized a motivational program to commemorate the birth anniversaries of two iconic women — Kiran Mayee Dey, the brand’s source of inspiration, and Pritilata Waddedar, the first female martyr of India’s freedom struggle.
The event took place at the Sreeleathers showroom in Bistupur and saw participation from several women’s organizations across the city. Led by social worker Jyotsna Dey, participants paid floral tributes and lit lamps in front of portraits of the two inspirational figures, reflecting on their courage, vision, and legacy.

Simran and Nisha presented a soulful musical tribute celebrating motherhood and sacrifice, resonating deeply with the audience.

This event reflects our social role in championing such values across the country,” he said.

Members of various organizations including the Jharkhand Bengali Association, Jamshedpur Mahila Samiti, The Milani, and Netaji Subhash Manch joined in paying tribute alongside Sreeleathers team members like Shyamal Shri, Preetilekha Roy, Bhaskar Mitra, Surojit Chatterjee, Bulbul Ghosh, Meera Sharma, and Jharna.
