SPIC MACAY performance enthralls students at DAV Bistupur

Jamshedpur, Dec 14: SPIC MACAY, the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth in collaboration with DAV Public School organised a programme showcasing Rajasthani Folk Song and Kalbeliya Dance performances in the school premises on Wednesday.

The programme was organised for the students of class 9 and 11, who were seen enjoying in the sensational aura created by the sparkling artists of International fame.

Children enjoyed their day out and expressed their heart’s elation by clapping and dancing at the beats of their performance.

The programme aimed at increasing awareness and knowledge about different aspect of the rich Indian heritage and culture among students.

Earlier, School principal inaugurated the programme and honoured all unparalleled fabulous artists.

The troupe of performers comprised of Bhugda Kha, Talaab Kha, Sabeer Kha, Bhuta Kha, Mustak Kha, Samadha and Aarti.

A scintillating performance of Rajasthani Folk dance was presented by Aarti and Samadha. They

used their inordinate skills in dance performance as force multiplier for the widest range of dance expressing the abstract notions of joy, beauty, values and expressions. Their expressions, gestures and energy emanated, kept one and all spellbound throughout.

The performers not only enthralled the audience with their superlative song performances but also conducted a dance orientation programme for the students by displaying their unbeatable skills.
