Jamshedpur, Jan. 23: BJP Jamshedpur Mahanagar remembered Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his 120th birth anniversary by paying floral tributes to the bust of Netaji at Aambagan Ground in Sakchi on Monday.
BJP district president Dinesh Kumar remembered his contribution to the nation. Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Varan Mahato was also present during at the event.
MP said, youth should follow the cherished path shown by Netaji so that India gets its pride of place in the world. State BJP spokesperson Rajesh Shukla said, Subhash Chandra Bose was the true patriot who had sacrificed his life for country�s freedom from British Rule.
On the occasion Dinesh Kumar saw that the spectacles of Netaji missing from the statue and termed it unfortunate. He said, every year anti-social elements are involved in these sorts of incident but the local administration is still not aware.
He demanded from the administration to encirclement of encirclement of the statue and put the spectacles back on the statue. District president demanded beautification of the statue location from MP Vidyut Varan Mahato where MP assured that soon beautification work would begin through the MP fund.
Present on the occasion were Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Kamlesh Singh, Pawan Agarwal, Nandjee Prasad, Kulwant Singh Bunty, Dhandhar Tripathi, Bhupendra Singh, Rakesh Singh, VimalkantJha, AnkitAnand, Deepal Parikh, Amarjeet Singh Raja, Vimal Baitha, and several party workers.
