Jamshedpur, Jan. 23: With Republic day round the corner, a team of youths in the city have launched awareness campaign regarding the importance if our national flag and informed the people not to throw the tricolour after the celebration on January 26.
Team Voice of Humanity, met East Singhbhum DC Amit Kumar and told him that maximum people use the National flag for decoration purpose at offices, schools, colleges, police station and other places where the tricolor is unfurled. The tricolor made of paper is found at sewer, roads and dustbins a day after the celebration which is big insult to our National Flag.

DC praised the youths for their initiative and assured to take concrete step on the issues.
A member of the team said, we have appealed all the Republic Day organisers not to use tricolor for decoration and have also made a list of places where January 26 is celebrated and plastic along with paper flags are used for decoration. After the celebration flags lie down and people walk over them.
