Jamshedpur, Oct 15: The inaugural ceremony of Lord Brahmananda Rath on the occasion of Lord Brahmananda Janmotsav will be celebrated on 24th and 25th October.
The Rath was flagged off by Manvendra Bhattacharya from Mango Bus Stand on October 13 and will be covering the whole of Jamshedpur and surrounding areas.
The two day celebrations will kick off with Samuhik jap, Havan and flag hoisting ceremony at Brahmlokdham, Air Base Colony, Kadma on October 24. Several competitions including Kalash painting, Mehandi, Drawing, Talent hunt, fancy dress, cultural programme and several others have been lined up on both the days.
Distribution of scholarship among students of various schools, blood donation camp and distribution of food and clothes will be held.
