Ranchi: The elections in Silli, one of Jharkhand’s most high-profile constituencies, have drawn significant attention, particularly due to the fierce triangular contest this time. Former Deputy Chief Minister and AJSU President Sudesh Kumar Mahto, a dominant figure in the region, faces stiff competition from JMM’s Amit Mahto and JLKM’s Devendra Mahto. Each candidate brings with him a strong electoral base, making it challenging to predict the outcome.
Sudesh Mahto, who has built a reputation for development in Silli, is banking on AJSU’s stronghold and its influence over a large vote bank.
